A session fee includes the time and talent of the photographer only. PRINTS and HIGH RESOLUTION DIGITALS are NOT INCLUDED in a session fee.

Stay Gold Photo is a local full service photography studio. This means I focus more on quality conservation prints, albums, than selling digitals. All photos from a session are carefully retouched. If you must own high resolution digitals with printing rights, they can be purchased from your gallery. “Social sized” digitals are complimentary with your purchase of prints. Social sized digitals are for viewing on your devices and sharing on social media.

Below, you’ll find lots of info on pricing for different types of sessions, along with some helpful tips on makeup, wardrobe, and other pre-session stuff. Don’t hesitate to give me a ring if you have any questions!

General Session

General Photos Session Investment:
$225 (up to 45 mins.) + $50 per additional 30 mins. Additional cost for travel outside of Jackson MI
$5 - $30 per Retouched Family Photo.

A general session includes; Family photos, maternity, babies, etc.

• You order your photo prints from Stay Gold Photo directly from your gallery (color and/or black + white). You will also receive complimentary “social sharing” sized digital files of your edited photos. These are specifically sized for viewing on your devices and sharing on social media. Or you may purchase high resolution digital downloads from your gallery ($35 each or $125 entire gallery) with printing rights.

Engagement Photos

Engagement Photos Session Investment:
$200 (30 mins. session + Editing)
$10 per retouched photos

Following your engagement session, you will receive a gallery of the best photos from your session. You order your photo prints directly from Stay Gold Photo from your gallery (color and/or black + white). Complimentary high resolution photos are available for engagement sessions.

High School Seniors

Senior Photos Session Investment:
$400 (1.5 hours session)
20 Professionally Retouched Photos
$10 per additional retouched photos
Includes Complimentary “Social Media Sized” Digitals
Own High Res Edited Digitals w/ printing rights (+ $320)
Individual High Res Edited Digitals w/ print rights (+$35)

• Up to 2 settings of your choice. Keep in mind that travel time is included in your session time. Senior photos sessions are done outdoors, in natural light.

• Following your session, you will receive an email with several unedited (not retouched) photo proofs.

• Choose up to 15 photos from your proofs to be edited at no charge ($5 per additional edit). The proofs that you choose for me to edit will be uploaded to your own private gallery, from which you can share + print.

• You order your photo prints directly from Stay Gold Photo from your gallery of edited photos (color and/or black + white). You will also receive complimentary low resolution “social sharing” sized digital files of your edited photos. If you would like to own high resolution photos to be printed elsewhere, you may purchase your high resolution digitals from your gallery.

• Prints may be ordered individually, or simply choose a photo collection that suits you.

• High resolution digital photos can be purchased a la carte from your gallery ($35 each or $250 for entire gallery). High resolution digitals are complimentary with the purchase of STAY GOLD, BIG SHOT, HEAVY METAL, or ULTIMATE photo collections (ordered in gallery) - or with the purchase of a debossed linen or leather hard cover PHOTO BOOK (ordered in gallery).

Add Sports Photos

Sports or other extracurricular activities session investment:
$75 (30 mins. session)
5 Edited photos. $10 per additional edit

Typically these take place at a field or court. It’s essentially another mini-session. You will receive an email with 10-15 unedited (not retouched) photo proofs. You choose up to 5 photos from your proofs to be edited/retouched at no charge ($5 per additional edit). The proofs that you choose for me to edit/retouch will be uploaded to your own private gallery, from which you can share + print. Photos are ordered from me directly from your gallery (color and/or black + white). You will also receive “social sharing” digital files. These are not printable, but perfect for viewing on your computer, phone, or tablet, and social media sharing. High resolution digital photos can be purchased from your gallery.

Wardrobe, hair + makeup, weather, etc.

Ladies, I strongly suggest you have your hair + makeup (airbrush is best) done by a professional stylist. It’s totally worth it, and a lot of fun!

Grooming: Guys, if you get a haircut, it’s best to get it 1 week before your shoot. This looks much better than a fresh cut, and you won’t have tan lines. Use a little hair product. Bring some along with you. Trim those nose hairs! Check for boogers! Bring tissues for blotting perspiration. Don’t stress over blemishes. They’ll be gone after editing!

What to wear: Guy + Gals

• Dress comfortably, and classic. The perfect outfit is you on your very best day. Be yourself and comfortable in your outfit choices so you can focus on the shoot, not fixing your clothes, throughout the session. Bring along YOUR favorite outfits, whether they are very casual, or exceptionally neat and dressy. We’ll decide what will work best as we shoot.

• Ladies, sleeveless looks great, but stay away from strapless and spaghetti straps. They are not flattering in photos.

Yearbook photos investment:
$80 (30 mins. session)
1 edited photo. $10 per additional edit.

Yearbook photos are done in my studio. These are simple, classic, head + shoulders shots, lit by studio lights. Clients will receive and email with at least 15 photo proofs. These are unedited small files. Choose 2 photos to be edited/retouched at no charge. $10 per additional edited/retouched photo. The proof(s) that you you choose for me to do final edits/retouching, will be uploaded to your own private gallery, from which you can order prints, download and share. I will send a high resolution digital file of your choice to the high school yearbook editor. You will also receive complimentary “social size” digital files (not printable) of your edited photos perfect for digital viewing and sharing.

Want to add some "low key lighting" sports, or other extra curricular photos to this session? + $25 (30 minutes)

You will receive an email with approximately 10+ proofs to choose from. You choose 3 for me to edit. $10 per additional edit. The proofs that you choose for me to edit/retouch will be uploaded to your own private gallery. You will also receive “social sharing” digital files. These are not printable, but perfect for viewing on your computer, phone, or tablet, and social media sharing. High resolution digital photos can be purchased from your gallery.
